Corporate Identity

Corporate Identity, also known as Brand Development or Brand Creation, is the "persona" of a company. It is often viewed as being composed of three parts:

• Corporate Design - such as logos, uniforms, etc.
• Corporate Communication - advertising, public relations, information, etc.
• Corporate Behaviour - company values, charity work, corporate social responsibility etc.

Visual Identity
It's not just about a logo, everything from stationery to marketing literature, signage to customer information, and vehicle livery to the design of a promotional t-shirt, all contribute to the impression created by a company.

Standing Out
Every sector or market place is highly competitive. You can stand out by developing a distinctive brand personality and a set of values which appeal to your customers. There is a reason why people buy one brand of training shoe over another - at the end of the day, most trainers comprise the same elements: a sole, the upper part of the shoe, the laces, etc. - but the reason a person buys one brand of footware rather than a less fashionable competitor is because of the way the company brands itself. The consumer feels that they can identify with the company and trust their products.
